There is something special about creating a painting with a story behind it. Commissions allow us to work together to create an original piece that is personal to you—whether inspired by a meaningful place, a favorite landscape, a memory, a room you love, or simply a color palette that speaks to you.

My commissions range from expressive landscapes and sentimental subjects to florals and contemporary abstracts. Some begin with a photograph or a specific place, while others begin with nothing more than a feeling, a few colors, or the space where the painting will live.

No matter where we start, the result is an original piece created just for you.

What Can I Commission?

Commissions can be inspired by almost anything meaningful to you. Past pieces have included Southern landscapes, family homes and special places, florals, abstract interpretations of meaningful colors, memorial pieces, and paintings created specifically for a particular room or space.

Have an idea that doesn’t quite fit into one of those categories? Send it my way. Some of my favorite commissions begin with, “I’m not exactly sure how to explain this, but…”

Creating for Your Space

Looking for something to complete a particular room? I can create a piece specifically with your space in mind.

You’re welcome to send photographs of the room, wall dimensions, fabric or wallpaper samples, paint colors, and other inspiration. Together, we can determine a canvas size, orientation, and palette that feels intentional in your home while still allowing the artwork to stand on its own.

A Note About My Style

When you commission an original painting, you are commissioning my interpretation of your idea rather than an exact reproduction of a photograph or another work of art.

Reference images, colors, and inspiration help guide the piece, but every painting will have its own movement, texture, layers, and character. Those unexpected moments are often what make an original painting special.

Timing

Each painting is created by hand, and completion times vary depending on size, subject, and my current commission schedule. If your painting is intended for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday, or another special occasion, please include that date with your inquiry so we can determine whether the timeline is possible.

Shipping + Pickup

Local pickup is available in the Central Arkansas area. Shipping is also available throughout the United States and will be quoted separately based on the size and destination of the finished artwork.
